New Bike: YT Industries Releases Capra Aluminum Version

YT Capra gets huge attention on it first appearance several times ago, and suddenly becomes the weapon of many riders. At the same time, the bike brought the "Bike of the Year." But the story of Capra still rolling. To face the 2016 season, the brand releases aluminum version of their most popular enduro mountain bike the Capra AL 2016 models. The most interesting, there are several models and be offered at good price. Let's check them.

First model of aluminum Capra is the Comp 1 which is the highest model on the range. Supported mostly by Rockshox Suspension, the brand new Lyrik is one of the interesting part on this bike. Pretty much similar with the carbon version, the Capra AL is also like mountain goat; great climber as well as downhiller. This would be the new weapon of choice by many enduro riders out there. To bring the YT Capra AL Comp 1 home, just prepare € 2,799.

The YT Capra AL Comp 2 is the second model. Mostly the Comp 1 and Comp 2 are same, but there are differences in total weight and suspension used. The Comp 1 is lighter than Comp 2. Rockshox Pike will be the fork of choice for the YT Capra AL Comp 2. It has 2x11 drivetrain, which is giving additional weight for the bike. For the price, the Comp 2 is same as the Comp 1, € 2,799.

While the entry model of the Capra aluminum there is YT Capra AL. Comes with Rockshox Yari, and some different parts on it. But overall, the bike is actually same. 2016 NUKEPROOF MEGA 27.5

Since its first appearance on the trail, the Nukeproof Mega turns to be one of the most popular enduro/all mountain bikes out there. Based on its success, the 2016 Mega will adopt new design with longer front centers and wheelbases. The new 2016 Nukeproof Mega also have slacker head angles and shorter chainstays. The suspension is still same as previous with 160mm on both rear and front. But, the new Mega 2016 is using Horst Style Suspension System instead of the Single Pivot.

The new Mega 2016 27.5 will be completed by Nukeproof components and Rockshox parts; both suspension with the Monarch Debonair RC3 and Pike 160mm. The new 2016 Nukeproof Mega will run with the SRAM X01 drivetrain.

2016 NUKEPROOF MEGA 29

This is the really new Nukeproof Mega because it adopts 29er, a bigger wheel than 650b. Nukeproof says that they want to create the Mega in the faster and better in the performance. But, the New Mega 29er is a bit different with its brother, mostly on the travel. The New Mega 29er runs in 150mm of travel, on both front and rear.
