New Bike: Kingdom Vendetta Boost Hardtail Bike

Titanium material isn't popular enough in full suspension bikes, but in hardtail, titanium mostly chosen because of its power and strenght. Like this Scotland bike brand, Kingdom, that just released new hardcore hardtail made of titanium material and this bike is real beast in hardtail mountain bikes. The bike is called Kingdom Vendetta Boost, and let's check the bike.
First of all, we know that Vendetta bike takes first appearance few years ago and since of that, Kingdom Bikes have been putting some upgrades to the new Vendetta, such as the tire size option which available in three option, 27.5, Boost 27.5+, and Boost 29+. Beside the tire size, the Vendetta frame now has lower bottom bracket, closer to the ground than before. It combined with more agressive angles of the bike.

Kingdom makes the Vendetta Boost as frame only option, so the fans can fully build this animal in very own style, and make it full custom for their own. The Vendetta frame will be priced at €1599, and it has three different sizes, start from Medium, Large, and Extra Large. Kingdom makes this frame to be special, and you can see few detail parts on the frame. In other words, this hardtail will not be 'dissappear' between full suspension bikes.

It has inner cable system, which is built very clean. The internal cable routing makes the bike accept the stealth dropper post which become one of the 'must-have' part for enduro/all mountain bikes today. Overall, the Kingdom Vendetta Boost is very serious bike, you can see the spirit inside, as the frame is built so serious to make great frame. SRAM makes the new chain with new design and it makes the chain will smoother and quiter because there is no sharp edges inside. The chain also stronger as this built from flatter plates.
But surely the big attention will be on the chainring. SRAM also develops the new X-SYNC 2 tooth profile, which is different with their previous version of X-SYNC. This profile offers better performance, it can avoid the hook, reduces wear, improves retention at the same time, and able to clean up the mud. From all parts, the new Eagle rear derailleur will be there to get most people attention. The new thing used in this RD is a Type 3 Roller Bearing Cluth mechanism which offer more consistent operation. The lower pulley also bigger with 14 tooth. The Eagle RD is also has long cage, different from any SRAM X series RD which is mostly available is short or medium option.
The Eagle's cassette will be fit perfect with 1x11 XD driver, so the fans don't have to replace their XD driver to the new driver to use the Eagle. As 12 speed, the cassette is now bigger, tooth counts are 10-12-14-16-18-21-24-28-32-36-42-50 with progressively larger 2-2-2-2-3-3-4-4-4-6-8-tooth jumps. And SRAM makes it a nice finishing with gold rings, looks very luxurious though it will be same after it brought to the track; muddy track. (pic: vitalmtb.com)
