Shimano has a various products for mountain biking parts, and with their latest update for the 11 speed SLX groupset, now Shimano brings the latest entry level but affordable groupset the Shimano Deore M6000. Despite this groupset is not 11 speed, but Shimano claims that the new Shimano Deore M6000 is more affordable than previous version.
Shimano Deore is long known as the entry level group with great performance, and it is used in many different bikes. For the new Shimano Deore M6000, the updates are mostly seen on the crankset. The new Deore cranks is now similar with another higher level groups that have been released before: XTR, Deore XT, and SLX.
Shimano keeps the center lock style for the new Shimano Deore M6000 hubset and rotors. And the new Deore brakeset, the updates are more similar with the XT, with the Servo Wave brake levers and Icetech compatible calipers. All the new Shimano Deore M6000 will be available on May, include the:

But not only that, along with the new Deore M6000, Shimano also released new Wide Range for SLX, and a one-by drivetrain. The wide cassette is now available as 11x 46 tooth. Is that enough? Not yet. To follow the market trends, Shimano also released a boost compatible wheelset, the Shimano Deore XT Wheelset, with both 27.5 and 29 inch.
