New Bike: Nukeproof New Bikes for 2015

Nukeproof have different approach for their new bikes for 2015; they keep the classic 26 inch wheels for some their new bikes, and after the winning of Sam Hill on World Cup at Mont St Anne this year, the brand needs to improve their next year bikes. For 2015 bikes, Nukeproof releases new bike, and some old bikes with some improvements in certain parts.

A new hardtail machine will be introduced by Nukeproof with the name Nukeproof Scout, which has features such as singe ring option and Maxle Lite back end. The Scout is using 27.5 inch wheels size and up to 150 mm front travel and this bike will be available both frame only and fullbike option.

The fullbike have several different choice, with the price range between $2,099.99 to $2,599.99, while frame only will be priced at $549.99.

The Nukeproof's popular bike, Nukeproof Mega, will be available on two variants, the Mega TR and Mega AM.

The Mega TR will have 130 mm rear travel and 150 mm front travel and will have 27.5 inch wheels. The Nukeproof Mega TR will available on three variants, Mega TR Race, Mega TR Comp, and Mega TR Pro. 

Nukeproof Mega AM will have its own dropper post brand, to push the price and this seems working good. Built as enduro bike riding, the Mega AM have 160 mm front suspension travel and will be available on two different option, the Mega AM Comp and Mega AM Pro.

Frame only will have different option of rear shock, with Rockshox Monarch $1,999.99 and with CCDB Air CS $2,499.99.

Nukeproof also releases their newest downhill machine, the Nukeproof Pulse 2015 which have the classic wheels size 26 inch and the Nukeproof Pulse DH 2015 will have variants, the Pulse Comp with Rockshox BoXXer Race and Kage with the price $4,199.99;

the Pulse Pro will be equipped with BoXXer Team and Vivid R2C for the $5,799.99; and frame only will have option with Rockshox Vivid $2,899.99 or with CCDB $3,199.99.

New Bike: Merida is Ready for the 2015 with Some New Bikes

The middle of the year is the most busy time for many mountain bike brands; this is the moment to announce the newest list and new bike for the next year, and that's what Merida did. They have ready for the competition in next year by releasing some new bikes, and these bikes will be Merida 2015 mountain bike range.

For the 2015, Merida prepares some popular bikes on their list, i.e. Merida One-Twenty and One-Sixty and some other bikes. Those bikes will have 27.5 inch wheels, or 650b and those bikes will be prepared for the cross country/ trail and enduro mountain biking scene.

Merida One-Twenty

All new Meride One-Twenty will have 120 mm rear travel, designed with the new alloy frame and this bike is ready for the cross country/ trail mountain biking scene. This bike has unique frame design on the chainstay, with the asymmetric design, though this frame design is not new but this is fresh.

With the front suspension travel up to 130 mm, and be combined with the 120 mm rear suspension, it claimed that this combination will result the better balance. Merida One-Twenty with highest specification will come with combination of FOX and Rockshox for the suspension, and Shimano XT 10 speed for the drivetrain.

Merida One-Sixty

Merida One-Sixty 2015 edition will be prepared for the enduro mountain biking scene with the 650b or 27.5 inch wheels, this bike keeps the VPK, or known as the virtual pivot design technology. Merida One-Sixty will come in two variants, the Merida One-Sixty 7.900 and One-Sixty 7.700, which will be equipped by SRAM parts; Rockshox Reverbs dropper post, and 1x11 SRAM drivetrain.

Merida One-Forty

Another new Merida bike for the 2015 line up is the Merida One-Forty 7.900, a trail bike that continuing its first appearance on 2014. As new bike from Merida, the 2015 is quite similar with the 2014 edition. And there will be another new bike from Merida but still on the confirmation; and this will be came for the Freddy range, a downhill bike from Merida.

The new cross country bikes also will be prepared, the Merida Ninety-Nine 9.800 with the same frame design with the 2014 frame, and also Merida Ninety-Nine 9 2015 Full Carbon. More information and photos from bikeradar.com.

New Bike: New Carbon Downhill Bike from YT

Another new machine from YT Industries and now is for the downhill scene, after they have new bikes on different scene and have been announced few times ago. This YT new downhill bike will be "Two-Ez" (Tues), which is a monster and real downhill bike for the professional with 27.5 inch wheels and looks like similar with the YT Capra.

The new YT Tues DH will be equipped with BOS suspension, a high performance and famous brand on the mountain biking suspension. The new YT downhill carbon bike will have four bar rear suspension and Horst-Link dropout pivot. 

The new YT Tues DH bike will be available soon, but this bike is still unavailable on the market yet, and it will be need a little time to ready for the market. This bike needs to finish the administration such as the certificate, the European certificate but this bike will be ready at least at the end of the 2014.

New Product: Five Ten Prepares 2015 Products

The famous brand on mountain biking clothes, Five Ten, prepares their newest product for the 2015 and still using their most success stealth rubber sole, Five Ten tries to build new shoes and re-build the old with some improvement and new models. For now, there are four new shoes, one is clip shoes and the other are the flat pedal shoes.

Five Ten Kestrel

First is called Five Ten Kestrel, the new clipless shoe from Five Ten for the 2015 and it has different approach with their old clipless shoes. The man behind this shoe is Nico Vouilloz and Lars Stenberg who give some inputs and idea for the Kestrel. Using stealth sole rubber, the Five Ten Kestrel will be available on the market soon and will be priced about $180.

Five Ten Women Freerider

The Freerider series are on of the most successful products from Five Ten, and maybe got inspiration from that, for the 2015 Five Ten releases the Women Freerider, and the Five Ten Women Freerider will be available on two versions, canvas and standard version, with the price $110 for the canvas and $100 for the standard version.

Five Ten Freerider Contact

The Five Ten Freerider Contact basically is the new look of the Freeride VXi with the new design, and still using the Stealth rubber sole. The new improvement on this shoe such as breathable mesh tongue, and the Freerider Contact is claimed more durable. The Five Ten Freerider Contact will be priced at $120.

Five Ten Spitfire

Another popular and success product from Five Ten, for the casual shoe and dirt jumpers and slopestylers shoe, the Five Ten Spitfire. The new Spitfire will come for the 2015 with fresh color, and Five Ten Spitfire will be priced at $90.
