New Fork: DVO Diamond Prototype 27.5 and 29 with Off The Top Technology

Come to the high-end fork on the precious scene, DVO Fork becomes the good fork the competitors of the current fork and to make it bold, DVO releases the new fork with the name DVO Diamond on the prototype form. With the single fork design, this fork will be used on the enduro/all-mountain scene and appear on the Eurobike with Cedric Garcia.

This fork will be available on two version 27.5 inch and 29 inch - seems DVO will ignore the classic 26 inch, so let's forget it. The DVO Diamond will also be adjustable with the main 160mm, and it can be adjusted through the internal spacers to the 150 mm and 140 mm. Come to the most competitive scene, the DVO Diamond will be priced at the price $1,000.

DVO offers new technology, that they call as Off The Top (OTT), which is basically changing the basic initial feel of the fork by using preload on the negative spring. The complete highlight on the DVO Diamond can be seen here:

Rocky Mountain developed new bike for 2015 for the cross country/trail scene, with the Rocky Mountain Thunderbolt 2015, and it hoped can break down any terrain both technical climb and also aggressive descent.

The new Thunderbolt 2015 hasn't been released yet, but Rocky Mountain will release this bike for the 2015 range, and better to learn more first about this bike.

The carbon material is chosen for the frame, and this is newest smoothwall carbon frame and Rocky Mountain Thunderbolt has new pipelock which make this bike better. The 27.5 inch wheels will be the size, and this is the trend nowadays. 

The new Rocky Mountain Thunderbolt will come in public in two various; Thunderbolt MSL 2015 and Thunderbolt MSL BC Edition. The Thunderbolt MSL will come in different serial number, and each have different price with the highest level is Rocky Mountain 799 MSL with the fantastic price $10,999.

Rocky Mountain Thuderbolt 799 MSL will be equipped with the newest Shimano XTR 11 speed drivetrain and another high end parts.

New Bike: Trek Releases New Carbon Bikes

Trek comes to the competition both on the track and market as they releases some new carbon bikes recent time, and those bikes have 27.5 inch wheels and also 26 inch wheels. Trek releases their one of the popular machine, the Slash with some new improvement i.e carbon frames and 27.5 inch wheels, and this will be numbered 9.9 model.

Trek Slash 9.9 looks simpler, but stylish as this frame looks bigger; and this bike also supported with high-end parts, the combination of FOX for the fork and Rockshox Monarch on the rearshock will be great combination. The new Shimano XTR 11 speeds also becomes the main power for this bike, and in other words, this is great machine from Trek.

Besides the new Slash, Trek also releases their new downhill bike, Trek Session 9.8 with the old formula 26 inch wheels but it still gives lot of fun. With the 26 inch wheels, the Trek Session 9.8 feels like the pure downhill machine but stronger and better with the carbon frames.

The last, the new downhill bike from Trek, the Session 88 with the 27.5 inch wheels; cheaper than previous bikes above because it uses aluminum for the frame and this bike can be brought to home with the $5,249.99. With the same geometry with their high-end downhill bike, the Session 88 27.5 is worth to be owned.

New Bike: Giant Releases Double Machine for 2015 - Glory 27.5 and Reign 27.5g

Giant previously said "goodbye 26 wheels" on early 2014, and to prove this, Giant releases double machine for the 2015 and all of them are 27.5 inch wheels, and those machines are Giant Glory DH and Giant Reign. With these bikes, Giant will continue the generation of the 27.5 inch wheels for their most popular machines on market.

Giant said that this monster is designed for the speed and helps the rider to be faster on track and this can be seen on the frame design and another improvement in any parts. Still using the maestro suspension system, this frame is ALUXX SL frame and have 203 mm travel of fork.

Commencal Releases the Meta Range with Contact System Technology

The Meta Range from Commencal is their most popular machine, and always releases together like previous year when they also releases this series together - check here. For the 2015, Commencal finally improved some new technology to be installed on the Meta Series; and this technology is called Contact System. As another new bikes from the competitors, the Meta Range 2015 has 27,5 inch wheels on them.

This suspension technology on the Meta Range 2015 is the improvement of previous suspension system, mostly on Commencal V3 which got complaints for the sole and the design that said "not too competitive" to another carbon machines. On the Meta Range 2015, Commencal releases two bikes for AM scene and Trail scene; Commencal Meta V4 AM and Commencal V4 Trail.

Both bikes got Contact System technology installed on it; Contact System is new technology that be developed by Commencal and this is resulting the more simple link between seatstay and driven rocker.
