New Bike: Banshee's Line Up for 2016

Banshee is one of the big brand on mountain bike scene, and have been participating on the scene for almost 15 years with their strong aluminum bikes. For 2016, they again release the updates of their most popular bikes that spread from hardtail mountain bike into aggressive downhill bikes. Basically, they bring those new bikes at Eurobike 2015 event several days ago, but it seems that needs to talk about Banshee Bike on different part and time.

BANSHEE PRIME
Let's start with their bigfoot bike the Banshee Prime, a 29er bike. For 2016, the Prime gets some updates and it is interesting to see the performance of the bike. The bike is a popular among the riders, and the bike is tough and aggressive tough this bike has big wheels.

• 135mm travel
• Longer TT and reach for all sizes
• 0.5° slacker head angle
• Longer HT on larger frame sizes
• Splined ISCG'05 tabs
• Lower Standover
• Improved cable routing
• Refined shock mount

BANSHEE SPITFIRE
Banshee Spitfire, the 140mm travel bike also gets update for 2016 season. The Spitfire is regarded as one of the most popular trail/all mountain bikes from Banshee.

• Longer reach in all sizes.
• 0.5° steeper seat angle on Small and Medium, 1.0° on Large and Extra Large
• Splined ISCG05 tabs
• Lower standover
• Improved cable routing
• Refined shock mount

BANSHEE RUNE
Rune is the higher all mountain/enduro bike from Banshee. For 2016, the manufacturer gives some updates for the Rune, such as improved cable routing and also better shock mount.

• 160mm travel
• Longer reach in all sizes.
• 0.5° slacker head angle
• 0.5° steeper seat angle on Small and Medium, 1.0° on Large and Extra Large
• Splined ISCG05 tabs
• Lower standover
• Improved cable routing
• Refined shock mount

BANSHEE LEGEND
The aggressive downhill machine also gets updates. Some updates such as new geometry of the bike to fit for the 27.5 wheels and claimed will have better performance. The links also get shorter but stiffer. This update is now ready for the world cup downhill level.

• Cutting edge 27.5" race geometry
• Totally reworked linkage for optimal kinematics for 650b
• New tube set resulting in 10% increased torsional stiffness.
• Improved standover
• Lighter forgings
• Integrated fork bumpers, using ODI plugs
• Tapered Zero-Stack headtube

Banshee still also gives their update for another bikes such as Banshee Amp, their dirtjump machine the Paradox and also Banshee Schyte, their freeride/downhill bike. From all new models of the Banshee bikes, the adjustable geometry is the feature that almost can be found there.
This is may be something good for the fans as they can choose their wheels size option. The brand also says that there's no plan for the manufacturer to build a carbon bike. The aluminum keeps the price low but with good performance.
