Frequency Control Valve or also known as FCV is the new suspension technology that be developed by high-end suspension good, BOS and this technology will be newest innovation from the brand's engineers. Basically this is not really new technology, because this system has been used in motor sport scene for few years, especially on off-road scene.
But then BOS develops this technology to be adapted in mountain biking sport and the improvement will be applied to make the suspension more comfort and efficient. On mountain biking sport, the application of FCV on MTB suspension system is placing the second damper inside the fork.
The FCV will give some benefits, such as the buttery feeling, less nose drive, more comfort on bumps braking. The new BOS Idylle RaRe DH fork will be available both 26 inch and 27.5 inch with 8 mm addition travel, so it will be 208 mm travel. Overall weight of the fork is 2680 gr. And the FCV suspension technology will be applied on the newest BOS fork, the Idylle RaRe, but there's no much information about the releasing date of the fork, and also the availability and the price.
