Diamondback continues the project of their previous downhill bike and the result is; the 27.5 inch wheels size downhill bike with some new improvement in suspension department and other parts for the 2015 downhill bike. And sure the geometry also, and this new Diamondback new downhill bike will be called DB-L8.
For now, this new Diamondback downhill 2015 bike is available on frame only, and the fullbike will be available on market on October this year, and for frame only this bike will be priced at $3,500. Two sizes will be available, Small and Long, but not like another brands that build carbon bike, the DB-L8 is using aluminum 6061 alloy frame.
The suspension system has been improved with the "Knucklebox" technology which is using triangulated singe-pivot swingarm. Then for the rear suspension, the Fox Van is chosen to support this department and this shock is making good work on this bike. The fullbike version of this bike is looking so clean, the rear derailleur cable also hidden to keep it from the bad crash, if it may happen.
