Since the appearance of new Instinct several days ago, Rocky Mountain also releases another new bike and this bike has available on market now, with about $5599 to bring the bike home. The bike is Rocky Mountain Altitude 770 MSL Rally Edition, and it may that this bike will be regarded as another enduro bikes from Rocky Mountain. This bike basically is very similar with previous edition of Altitude 790, especially in the frame department which still use carbon material. But this bike has been improved in the specifications that higher than before. Fox 34 CTD 160mm in front and combined with Fox Float X for the rear is one of the improvisation on this bike. But, Rocky Mountain has been placed the better graphic for this bike, it looks like mysterious entity that run fast in the mountain, running down slashing the forest.
Rocky Mountain also releases the Rocky Mountain Altitude 770 MSL Rally Edition, with some differences with the bike above. Though it made from the same carbon material for the frame, but it is claimed that this frame will more affordable and better. It uses X-Fusion for the rear suspension, replaces the Fox Float X, and also uses the SRAM X7 that replace the SRAM X9. With more friendly specification, this bike is able to bring home with $3299, but this bike is ready for a race.
In other words, these bikes can be alternative for anyone who want to ride an aggressive bike but with friendly prizes. Maybe these are not best bike, but depend on the prize, specifications, and its performance; these bikes are good, both pro and beginners. As long as these bikes are used as its function, these are good bike to spend the weekend by taking some trips, bring them into the top of mountain and try to running down - as long as not downhill - and feel the impression from these bikes.
