Schwalbe Thunder Burt XC Tire

Schwalbe releases the new tire special for the XC usage, and it makes they have better lineups in the mountain bike XC class with this tire, the Schwalbe Thunder Burt XC tire. This tire looks like its competitor, the Maxxis Crossmark from its pattern in the surface of the tire. And it seems that this new tire from Schwalbe is to be the competitor for Crossmark.

As XC tire, Schwalbe Thuner Burt is good in dry track, and this tire is made to fill that condition. This tire is heavier than its brother Racing Ralph and Furious Fred, but Schwalbe claims that the Thunder Burt has better rolling, faster, and this tire is very recommended for dry XC track. Actually, the same feature what the Crossmark offers to the biker. The whole weight of this tire is about 400 gr, and of course that weight is not the lightest XC tire. The surface pattern also similar with its main competitor, with big pattern in the both side and small in the middle.
This pattern is to make tire roll fast, but still get maximum grip, very typical of cross country tire. The Schwalbe Thunder Burt will be available in three wheels size, 26 inch, 27,5 inch, and 29er, and all of them will get the standard size 2.10; each of them have weight about 370gr, 385gr, and 410gr. This tire will be available on shops September.
